A road has been closed due to an overturned vehicle in Gwyned.

The B4391 has been shut at Llandderfel near Bala , and the air ambulance has been called to the scene.

This is a breaking news story.

Three in hospital

Two people had to be freed from an overturned car after an accident on a Gwynedd road. The Wales Air Ambulance , two land ambulances, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police attended the crash, which occurred at around 10am on Sunday at the junction of the B4391 and B4402 at Llandderfel near Bala . Firefighters used specialist equipment to free two people from the wreckage of one car.

Three casualties are being transported to Wrexham Maelor hospital from the crash scene - two by land ambulance and one by Air Ambulance. No details of injuries
