Special Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar was said to have been delegated to handle land related issues in the Revenue Department in a minor reshuffle of senior IAS officers on Sunday. He will take the place of Rajeswar Tiwari who has been transferred as Special Chief Secretary of Environment and Forest.
Presently, both Mr. Somesh Kumar and Mr. Tiwari are Special Chief Secretaries of Revenue, the former is looking after subjects of Excise and GST. Mr. Raghunandan Rao who was waiting for posting has been made Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development in place of Neetu Kumari Prasad who is yet to get a posting.
