In the deciding match, Yoshna Singh thrashed Caroline Spahr in straight games to help India emerge victorious. Earlier, Sanya Vats went down to Marina Stefanoni, while Aishwarya Khubchandani overcame Olivia Robinson. Egypt clinched the gold medal, with home side Malaysia settling for silver. Hong Kong and England won bronze.
