HYDERABAD: Inspections at all hospitals, including private clinics, that are less than 15 metres in height, will be conducted to check for fire
safety measures by the end of August, said K Vishwajit, director of enforcement for GHMC’s vigilance and disaster management wing.
“We had earlier sent an advisory to both Gandhi Hospital and OGH asking them to take proper measures after our officials found fire
safety equipment missing from their premises. By the end of this month, we will initiate the inspection of hospitals and clinics that are below 15 metres in height. Hospitals found violating norms will be sealed if they don’t take measures within the given time,” said Vishwajit.
