This August, Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai introduces a Honey Afternoon Tea, where the outstanding Yunnan honey is integrated into afternoon tea dishes. Lively in style and rich in colours, the program aims to provide a wonderful experience for all food enthusiasts seeking top-quality dishes.

In particular, the team is proud to introduce two distinctive customised cakes: lemon drizzle cakes with wild flower honey and dundee cake with sweet chaste berry honey. The wild flower honey consists a very sweet taste alongside a slight flavour of tart cherry and a wonderful floral aftertaste. The sweet chaste berry honey is mildly sweet with a subtle lemon tartness, which is suitable for desserts as well as complementing coffee and tea.

Beside the cakes, an element of honey can also be seen in the savouries as well. The honey glazed ham with red onion relish pretzel for example, has a special flavour after combining both sweetness and savoury tastes together into a single dish.

Honey Afternoon Tea is presented with a joint effort by Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai and SCHOOL NOW, a Shanghai-based magazine focused primarily on elite education. A beautiful stationery gift, provided by SCHOOL NOW, will be offered to all guests who book afternoon tea for two persons throughout August.
