Share market update: 9 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

Overall, 35 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Around 9 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Abbott India, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Gujarat State Petronet and Pidilite Industries.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 87.90 points up at 11,120.35 while the BSE Sensex was trading 278.13 points up at 37,605.49.

Overall, 35 shares were trading in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Grasim Industries, UltraTech Cement, Vedanta and UPL were among the top gainers.

While Bharti Airtel, YES Bank, Tata Motors, ITC and Indian Oil Corp were trading in red.
