DTE and KJ Educational Institute to organise Industry-institute interaction meet on 11th & 12th

PUNE: An Industry Institute Interaction Meet has been jointly organised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state, and KJ Educational Institute. The meet will be held over a period of two days on coming Sunday (August 11) and Monday (August 12) at the KJ institute campus located at the base of Bapdev ghat.
The inauguration will be held at 10.30 am at the hands of state education Minister for higher and technical Education, Mr. Vinod Tawde and state Director of Technical Education, Mr. Abhay Wagh. The information was given by joint director of technical education C. T. Kunjir and president of K J Educational Institute, Mr. Kalyan Jadhav at a press conference held on Friday.
At the conference, director of KJ Institute Dr. Hemant Abhyankar, Prof. Dr Suhas Khot among others were present.
C. T. Kunjir said, "While we are progressing in technical education, it is important to have a coordination between industry and academic. The coordinated effort between industry and academia will help in imparting quality and practical education. This meet has been organised with the same aims and objectives. The meet will focus on aspects such as innovation, entrepreneurship development, skill-based education among others. Lectures, pane discussions and project exhibition will be conducted over the two days. Dr. Sanjay Inamdar will conduct a lecture on innovation in industry. Lectures by Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, Dr Pradeep Bhargava, vice-chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Dr. Nitin Karmalkar, Hubli based Dr. Nitin Kulkarni will speak on entrepreneurship development."
Mr. Kalyan Jadhav said, "On the second day of the meet, Dr. Sandeep Inamdar will speak on 'Industry-based projects', while Anand Joshi will speak on 'Reverse Engineering.' At the valedictory of this event, Director of Technical Education board, Dr. Vinod Mohitkar will be present. A total of four panel discussions would be conducted at the meet and experts from industries and Institutes will be participating. Besides, some innovative projects conceptualised by the students would also be displayed during this meet.
