Pak Foreign Minister visiting China to discuss Indo-Pak tensions
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has dashed to China today to discuss with the Chinese leadership Indo-Pak tensions after India revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier this week, India revoked Article 370 to withdraw the special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the region into two Union Territories --Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh.

The Samjhauta Express which was stopped at the Wagah border by Pakistani authorities yesterday reached Old Delhi railway station with 117 passengers at 8:05 am today, four-and-a-half hours behind schedule, the railways said.
It said the train was delayed because it was held up at Wagah on the Pakistani side and passengers arrived late at Attari on the Indian side, where also formalities took time to complete.

Many J&K citizens not impressed with PM's speech, say Kashmiris should have been consulted
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday defended his government's decision to revoke provisions of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, a section of residents alleged the way it was done was "extremely undemocratic".
Some even claimed the Centre only wanted to "win lands and not hearts of Kashmiris".
From students to professionals, belonging to both Jammu and Kashmir regions, many were apprehensive that taking away the special status will render the "ecologically sensitive" province "vulnerable" to exploitation due to infrastructure-related activities. (PTI)
