Teenager gang-raped, 3 arrested in Gurugram

GURUGRAM: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three youths in Bajghera area. Three men were arrested and sent to a 14-day judicial custody on Thursday.
According to police, on Wednesday, the girl had left her house without informing anyone. When she didn’t returned home till evening, her family members filed a missing person’s complaint at the Bajghera police station.
On Thursday morning, the girl reached her house and narrated her ordeal.
The girl was friends with one of the accused, who lured her and took her to a room in Bajghera area.
She told police that the boy, identified as Hari Om, called two of his friends and they raped her. “On Thursday morning, I managed to escape from there and reached her home,” the girl told her family.
“After reaching home, the survivor narrated everything to her mother and then her parents approached police,” said police spokesperson Subhash Boken, adding that on the basis of the complaint a case was registered under Section 6 of POCSO Act.
After conducting raids at various locations the three youths were arrested.
