I am a person who believes that a person should be committed towards the project taken up. So, we decided to drop the film,” he said. Suresh added that this doesn’t mean that the project has been permanently shelved. “Maanadu will have a new premise in future, with Venkat Prabhu as the director,” he added. This news has upset Simbu’s fans and they have expressed their disappointment on social media. Venkat Prabhu too took to Twitter and said, “It’s very unfortunate that I couldn’t work with my brother #str in #maanaadu. Everything is time bounded.
