At least three people died after a three-storey building collapsed in the early hours of Saturday in Kheda district of Gujarat. Several people are feared to be trapped under the debris of the building.

According to the initial reports, four to five people have been rescued.

The incident happened in Pragatinagar in Kheda district's Nadiad area. The cause of the building collapse is said to be heavy rains in the area.

The rescue teams have reached the site of the building collapse. Rescue operations are underway.
