Top long-distance runners of the world will be seen in action in the USD 2.80 lakh prize money 15th edition of Airtel Delhi Half Marathon scheduled to be held here on 20th October.
“This year is a special milestone for ADHM, as we celebrate the 15th edition of the event in the capital city. When we introduced this event in Delhi, we always believed that it had the potential to be one of the world’s most awaited races. The growth in its international profile, participation and support from the city, is a testament to the efforts of all stakeholders, in achieving this vision.” said Vivek Singh, Jt. MD, Procam International , the pioneers of distance running movement in the country.

We extend a warm welcome to Fast&Up, Help-Age India and Delhi Capitals; their belief and passion in the cause is inspiring,” he said while announcing that opening of registration for the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon.

Registration for all race categories including Half Marathon, Open 10K, Great Delhi Run (5km), Senior Citizens’ Run (3.2km) and the Champions with Disability Run (3.2km) will commence on Wednesday 7th August at 0700 hrs and stay open until 1900 hrs on 27th September 2019 or till running places are filled, whichever is earlier.
Advantage women, over the years, the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon has successfully empowered women in the capital to own the streets of Delhi. Each passing year has given rise to a new breed of quality women runners. To continue this trend forward,there is a limited number of running places reserved, in the Half Marathon and the Open 10K, for women applicants, who cannot produce a timing certificate.
The start line of this IAAF Gold Label race is expected to echo the sounds of 35,000 tapping feet across five categories, i.e. Half Marathon (21.097km), Great Delhi Run (5km), Open 10K, Senior Citizens’ Run (3.2km) and Champions with Disability (3.2km), as they run through the fast and picturesque course of the Capital.
