Civic chief urges CP for help to check pocketing of bus fares by conductors

Nagpur: Municipal commissioner Abhijit Bangar has approached police commissioner BK Upadhyay to seek help in curbing pilferage of ticketing amount in city buses.
TOI has been highlighting about rampant pocketing of bus fares by bus conductors.
In the past NMC’s transport department had caught many conductors for allegedly pocketing bus fares. The civic body had also lodged complaint with many city police stations, but to no avail. The civic chief has sought the top cop’s help as the last resort.
