With the 73rd Independence Day fast approaching, security measures at the Chennai Airport has been stepped up.
This covers all areas the of airport, including parking lot.
Passengers flying out of Chennai airport are requested to reach airport well in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
The heightened security measures will be in place till August 31, says a release from AAI Chennai Airport.
