International Cat Day is a day dedicated to cats of all shapes, sizes and colours and is celebrated on August 8 every year. It was initiated in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare and other animal rights groups. In honour of International Cat Day, we bring you 5 Bollywood actresses who have cats as pets and they totally adore their flurry friends. Alia Bhatt is an animal lover and has often campaigned against animal cruelty. Alia Bhatt's furball is too cute and its name is Edward. Disha Patani, on the other hand, gifted herself a kitten on her birthday, who she named Keety. Swara Bhasker rescued and adopted three Indian breed cats and named them Kulfi, Utpati and Atom. Shilpa Shetty is another Bollywood celeb who owns a furry feline and she named it Simba. She completely adores it and her Instagram photos prove it. Another true animal lover in Bollywood is Jacqueline Fernandez. The actress also has a furry pet named Yoda, who she completely adores.
