The horrific moment moment a man was knocked unconscious by a teenager in a one-punch attack outside a nightclub has been caught on video.
Footage showed the man in his 40s briefly speaking with the 18-year-old man at about 1.20am on August 4 outside the Metropolis nightclub in Fremantle, Perth.
The conversation soon turned violent as the teen punched the older man in the jaw and knocked him to the ground in front of about a dozen onlookers.

The young man was then seen running off with a group of friends, leaving the man motionless and sprawled across the pavement, as a group of women came running to the punch victim's aid.
A police spokesperson said the man in his 40s suffered a head injury and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The 18-year-old man has been charged with acts or omissions causing bodily harm or danger.
He will appear in Fremantle Magistrates Court on August 20.
