Gopalamitras begged on the street with disposable plates here on Wednesday in protest against the alleged indifference of the State Government to their demand for jobs in the Village Secretariats, even after a week-long protest.
The artificial immunization(AI) workers led by Gopalamitras’ Association Prakasam district president M. Veeranjaneyulu poured out their woes before the statue of late Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh. They displayed the prowess of the Ongole breed of cattle on the occasion. They urged Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy to fulfil his promise given to the AI workers during his padayatra. “We deserve postings in Village Secretariats and ready for a protracted struggle,” Mr.Veeranjaneyulu added.
