Grant to protect historical documents

Thiruvananthapuram: Applications are invited for the grant of National Archives of India 2019-20 for the protection of historical documents, rare and valuable books, handwritten notes etc in the possession of individuals and libraries. The grants are provided to registered non-government organisations, individuals, deemed universities etc.
The fund is provided for purchase of equipment for protection, maintenance, cataloguing, publishing of rare document and digitization of old documents.
Two copies of applications must be send to state archives department which is the nodal agency. The applications must be send before August 14. The applications, along with recommendation of screening committee, will be forwarded to national archives of India. Format of application and details are available in www.nationalarchives.nic.in.
