The work on the project will begin within three months, minister for urban development Milind Naik said on Monday in the House.
The assurance came after leader of opposition Digambar Kamat said the right of Goan citizens to time-bound delivery of public services regulation was not being fully implemented by the state.
Kamat asked Naik to work out a system where citizens won’t need to come face-to-face with officials for issuance of such certificates at all. “Ensure fully computerised centres where people can go and procure all such certificates. Why do citizens have to be made to go back and forth for the document?” Kamat said.
