Belagavi witnesses the wrath of monsoon

Over the past week, Belagavi has been pounded by torrential rainfall. On Tuesday, the downpour caused a lot of havoc, including traffic woes as connectivity between Belagavi and neighbouring Goa was severely hampered. The highways alongside Belagavi have been the worst affected as far as rain havoc is concerned.
In fact, Nippani, along the Kolhapur-Belalgavi NH 4 highway even saw some cracks on the roads, as a result of the heavy rainfall the city has witnessed.
