Tech-based real estate platform NoBroker.com has rolled out its services, including its USP of brokerage-free transactions, in Hyderabad.
It has been about a month since the operations were launched and over 33,000 people in Hyderabad were using the services. Over 15,000 listings have been made on the platform, co-founder and CBO Saurabh Garg, who accompanied by another co-founder and CTO Akhil Gupta, spoke to media here on Wednesday.
The foray comes on the back of the recent Series C fund raising of $51 million in the tech platform. Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Gurgaon were the other cities where NoBroker.com is operational and there are plans to roll out the service in a total of 20 cities in three years, Mr.Gupta said.
A release said since its launch in 2014, the portal had been spearheading the transformation of the residential and commercial real estate spaces with a customer-to-customer (C2C) approach by leveraging technologies and AI-assisted tools to eliminate brokers and enable a transparent property search system.
To queries, the senior executives said for those seeking to rent properties the portal connected them with nine property owners free of cost. Beyond that, ₹1,000 is to be paid, for which the portal connects to a total of 25 owners. The portal is for listing properties for rent and sale. On the revenue model, they said the portal levied a fee from those accessing value-add services such as booking packers and movers, home-cleaning and rental agreement documentation.
