Zambia Court Blocks Vedanta Bid to Stop Liquidation

(Bloomberg) -- A Zambian court Wednesday dismissed an application by Vedanta Ltd. to stay the liquidation of its Konkola Copper Mines unit and set the hearing for a winding up petition on Aug. 27.
