3 snatchers nabbed with 10 cellphones
Jodhewal police have arrested Manjeet Singh of Rahon Road, Gurpreet Mehra of Kailash Nagar Road and Harpreet Singh of Meharban with 10 mobile phones they had snatched from citizens and a sharp-edged weapon. According to the police, the accused used to target commuters during late night hours. They would threaten them with the sharp-edged weapon. A case has been registered against the accused.
Drug peddler held near haibowal
Division 8 police have arrested Sandeep Sharma of Jassiyan Road with 14g heroin. He was arrested from Haibowal Ganda Nullah bridge where the cops had established a checkpost.
