Islamabad: Amid the escalating tension over the scrapping of Article 370, that gave special rights to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan might call back its High Commissioner from India. The Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled central government on Monday scrapped Article 370, revoking the special status enjoyed by Jammu and Kashmir and an ‘autonomous’ status. Along with that, the Centre also introduced a Bill in the Rajya Sabha bifurcating the state of J&K and dividing it into two Union Territories. The Bill was passed in the Upper House and will be tabled in the Lok Sabha on August 6.
