Charminar: Elaborate arrangements are being made at the Mir Alam Eidgah for the Eid-ul-Adha prayers, that will fall on August 12 this year. The Telangana State Waqf Board (TSWB) chairman Mohammed Saleem along with officials concerned took stock of the arrangements being made at the eidgah on Tuesday for the special prayers.
Saleem said that waterproof tents would be erected for the devotees at the Eidgah as it is monsoon season. “Proper facilities will be provided to the devotees. Officials of all departments concerned have been asked to ensure peaceful conduct of prayers,” said Saleem.
The TSWB chairman inspected the ongoing arrangements at the eidgah along with GHMC, HMWSSB, TSSPDCL, police and other government department officials at the eidgah.
Several devotees from Old City offer Eid prayers at the eidgah.
