Mumbai, The BSE Sensex appreciated by 128,92 points to 36,828.76 on Tuesday on brisk buying in realty, metal, capital goods, bankex and telecom stocks. The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too advanced by 40.60 points to 10,903.20. Sensex recorded intra-day’s high and low at 36,933.13 and 36,536.59 points respectively. The Nifty recorded intra-day’s high and low at 10,938.65 and 10,813.80 points respectively.
The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 3.29 pc to Rs 666.65, Indus bank by 1.84 pc to Rs 1416.85, Asian paintsBy 1.73 pc to Rs 1,551.00, YesBank by 1.73 pc to Rs 82.50 and Bajaj finance by 1.55 pc to Rs 3209.60. The losers were power grid by 1.27 pc to Rs 198.60, ONGC by 0.88 pc to Rs 130.10, VEDL by 0.75 pc to Rs 139.65, Bajaj Auto by 0.53 pc to Rs 2606.25 and Reliance by 0.52 pc to Rs 1137.10.
