Incessant rain continued to affect life in parts of northern Karnataka disrupting bus and train services.
Due to torrential rainfall and water flowing below the tracks, both up and down lines between Londa and Tinaighat in Northern Karnataka have been suspended from 1.00 a.m. on August 6 till further advice.
Divisional Engineer of Central Section of Hubli Division visited spot and advised that in view of safety of passengers, train traffic should be suspended till normal operations can be resumed safely.
Here are a list of trains that have been rescheduled and short-terminated:
1. 12742 EX Patna-Vasco to short terminate at Belagavi (diverted via Miraj) arriving on 06.08.2019
2. 06948 ex Hubli-Vasco slip coaches to short terminate at Londa, dated 06.08.2019
3. 18048 ex Vasco-Howrah rescheduled by 6 hours (scheduled dep. 07.10 hours, rescheduled to 13.10 hours), dated 06.08.2019
4. 12780 ex Nizamuddin-Vasco to short terminate at Belagavi. Slip coaches to be moved seperately to Hubli, arriving on 06.08.2019
