The music release of the upcoming
Odia film,
From Me To You, was held at a city hotel recently. In attendance were the cast and crew of the film, which is directed by Hemant Kumar Sahu and has Jyoti Prakash,
Amlan Das and Shradha Mahapatra in lead roles. The lead actors were also present at the event along music director
Prem Anand and singers like
Humane Sagar, Diptirekha Padhi, Asutosh and Beautiful Das.
The veteran duo of actor Siddhant Mohapatra and actress

The film has five songs, including one having the famous punchline, ‘Aapanamane Khusi Tah’, which had been delivered by Chief Minister
Naveen Patnaik during a speech at Bhubaneswar Festival, which was held during Odisha Men’s
Hockey World Cup in the city. This catchline had later become a topic of several memes. “I am sure all the songs in this film will be liked by Odia audiences. The songs have all the ingredients to become popular,” said Prem Anand.
Hemant has also penned the story and screenplay, while Ashwin Gadanayak has assisted him. Sitanshu Mohapatra is the cinematographer and Basantraj Samal is the lyricist. The movie also has several veteran and versatile actors like
Bijay Mohanty, Pragyna, Smita Mohanty, Kusum Tripathy, Sreela, Jeeban Panda and Pintu Nanda, among others. “It’s a story that’s based on friendship and a love triangle. There is also a thriller angle to the film. It will provide wholesome entertainment and attract masses to the theatre,” said actor Jyoti Prakash.
