Freitas promoted to first vice president at BayCoast Bank

SWANSEA - BayCoast Bank recently promoted Paula Freitas to first vice president, regional branch manager.

Freitas joined BayCoast Bank in 2010 and prior to her most recent promotion held the title of vice president, regional branch manager.

Freitas oversees 10 of the 20 branches in the bank’s branch network. She is responsible for monitoring the activities in those branches including business and relationship development, compliance and efficiencies, staffing and staff development and exceptional customer service.

Freitas is a graduate of The New England School for Financial Studies and attended Bristol Community College and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

A resident of New Bedford, Freitas is a member of the Rotary Club of New Bedford Board of Directors, a Roman Catholic Bishop Diocese Finance Committee member and serves as treasurer for the Committee to Elect Linda Morad. She is also a member of Leadership SouthCoast.
