Special event held at Noida mall to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas

In order to mark the 20 anniversary of Kargil Day a tableau which replicated the Amar Jawan jyoti and the India Gate was set up at the GIP Mall in Sector 38A. The area also had board which detailed the story of Kargil War and how Indian soldiers defeated the enemy.
“We want that the new generation should know how our soldiers protected the country. The aim of the whole set up was to ignite patriotic feelings in the visitors,” said Shameem Anwar from the mall.

A performance by artists from Manipur was also showcased at the event. They stood on one another and made pyramids and waved the tricolor.
