After Amit Shah's claim, Akhilesh Yadav asks government to show 17 medical colleges

LUCKNOW: Soon after union home minister Amit Shah claimed in the ground breaking ceremony that 17 medical colleges have been constructed in the state in last two-years, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav took to twitter asking the Yogi Adityanath government to tell the people when and where have they been constructed.
Addressing the ceremony, Shah said 17 medical colleges had been completed since 2017 and 15 more were in pipeline.
Posting a tweet in Hindi, Akhilesh said: “Sarkar batae ki Uttar Pradesh mein 2017 ke baad kaun se 17 medical college kahan bane hain. (Government should tell which 17 new medical colleges have been constructed after 2017 and where).”

“UP government should also inform people whether there has been an increase in the production and supply of electricity in proportion to the hike in power tariff,” he said.

Later, Akhilesh said that investors need infrastructure and law and order in the state to set up their businesses but murders, rape, kidnapping and dacoity were the order of the day.
“The condition of infrastructure can be gauged from the fact that Lucknow’s outer ring road, constructed four months ago, has caved in at 14 places. Is this the way government is making the state $ 1 trillion economy?” he questioned.
