Man attacked by sloth bear in Nizamabad

KARIMNAGAR: A man sustained serious injuries after a sloth bear attacked him at Dharmaram village in Nizamabad.
Upon seeing the animal, villagers informed the forest officials who tried to capture the bear but couldn’t.
A tranquilising team from Nehru Zoological Park caught the bear.
The animal was shifted to Nizamabad town for medical examination, according to the district forest officer.
