This Street-Legal McLaren P1 GTR Is Perfect For Well-Off Petrolheads

One of just 58 examples of the McLaren P1 GTR is up for sale from German exotic car dealership Luxury And Expensive.

The car we’re looking at is number 34 and, thanks to its bright yellow paint scheme, is one of the most eye-catching we’ve come across. No mileage details are included in the listin,g but we do know that this P1 GTR is one of just a few which were converted by Lanzante into street-legal machines.

Up front, there is a sharp carbon fiber front splitter and grille complemented by a yellow hood and wheel arches. A set of black wheels with center locks and black brake calipers help to ensure that the paintwork gets all the attention it deserves. Elsewhere, this Macca is a sleek combination of yellow painted surfaces and exposed carbon fiber surfaces across its rear half. Like all other P1 GTRs, though, its visual highlight is perhaps the massive rear wing.

Powering the McLaren P1 GTR is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 complemented by an electric motor. However, whereas the normal road-going P1 pumps out 903 HP, the P1 GTR offers up 986. All of this power is sent through the rear wheels, making the P1 GTR an absolute monster on the track – never mind the road…

According to McLaren, the Senna is faster around a racetrack than the P1 GTR, despite having approximately 200 HP less. However, we think most would agree than the P1 GTR is much better to look at and perfectly combines form with function.
