The “Parole in Place” policy allows undocumented, immediate family members of veterans and current military members to stay in the country while their loved ones serve. While Lewis Ramos is on a year-long deployment in Afghanistan, his mother Rosa can stay in their home in the U.S., and apply for a green card. But now the Trump administration is considering ending the policy.
