Nigerian held with Rs 1-crore heroin

Ludhiana: The police arrested a Nigerian after 200g of heroin was found on him in Khanna on Friday.
Cops said the estimated cost of the consignment recovered from Ezeke of Emo Estate in Nigeria was about Rs 1 crore.
At a checkpost in Doraha, Ezeke was stopped after he got down from a bus. During frisking, 200g heroin was found in a black polythene bag he was carrying.
Khanna SSP Gursharandeep Singh said, “Ezeke had brought the consignment from Delhi to supply it in Jalandhar.”
“It is being probed if Ezeke, a resident of Phase 5, Uttam Nagar in Delhi, has legal documents to stay in India,” said a cop.
