Punjab CM Amarinder Singh flags off mobile hospital

CHANDIGARH: Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh on Thursday flagged off a mobile hospital van donated by Tanda MLA Sangat Singh Gilzian and Family, who owns a charitable trust, on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in the memory of their parents.

The van equipped with modern facilities like dental checkup, eye checkup, blood test, X-Ray, ECG, free medicine will provide free medical facilities to the people of the Tanda Vidhan Sabha. A team of nine doctors will visit a village every day and do free tests of the patients.
MLA Sangat Singh Gilzian said a few villages of his constituency falls in the foot hills of the Himalayas and the health facilities in these villages were not at par. His son Daljit Singh Gilzian said that the people of Tanda constituency had blessed them 4 times in a row by sending them to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha so now it was their turn to pay back to the people of constituency. He said that apart from the medical facilities every patient would be given a medicinal plant.
