Mumbai: Fire breaks out in Vasai Industrial estate

MUMBAI: A fire broke out in an Industrial estate manufacturing plastics in Vasai (east) in Maharashtra on Friday. No casualties were reported.
The fire occurred in the Priya Industrial Estate located at Shivaji Nagar in Valiv, Vasai ( east) at around 6pm.
Plastics were up in flames that led to a massive smoke cover in and around the locality that houses industrial units.
The Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation ( VVMC) fire brigade carried out fire fighting operations. Workers and staffers rushed out of the factory as soon as they noticed the flames.
No injury has been reported. There was loss of property and products; the extend of loss has not been ascertained.
