A cancer-stricken mother has revealed the heartbreaking moment doctors told her she would be living a life of gruelling chemotherapy 'until she dies'.
Entrepreneur Rebecca Williams, from Dunsborough in Western Australia, was tragically diagnosed with an aggressive form of bowel cancer in July 2018.
The mother-of-one said she has since suffered from bouts of nausea, dizzy spells, headaches and 'hot and cold' after undergoing 16 rounds of chemotherapy.
But after taking a brief break from treatment, she received the devastating news her cancer cells are 'progressively and aggressively multiplying' in her liver and lymph.
In her last-ditch attempt, the 34-year-old made the tough decision to leave her daughter Zavian behind so she could travel to Mexico for a potentially life-saving treatment as there are no other options.

'With as much joy and positivity as we can muster despite the fear and the unknown. So much has happened in this last two weeks,' Rebecca said in her Instagram post.
'After my last round of chemo I was left feeling so ill. My face has flared up again, red and sore. I have been so fatigued. It was such a kick in the face, knowing that we were heading down this road again.
'This is what the doctors predict for me. A life of balancing chemotherapy with intermittent breaks from treatment, on repeat, until I die. It's unappealing to say the least. So we decided that we would give something else a chance.'
After the disease spread from her bowel to her lung, liver and lymphatic system, the mother decided to commence treatment at the Hope 4 Cancer clinic in the hope of getting more time on her life.
'After my last scan results we decided that there was no time to waste. This amazing treatment is actually something I can't afford,' she said.
'I have never liked asking for help. I have always been proud to stand on my own two feet. As a single mama I have worked sewing and making while my girl slept at night or while she was at school, hustling my way through as a creative entrepreneur.
'But in this instance I need to put my pride aside. My girl is the most important thing in my world and I want to be here for her as she grows up, at any cost.'

Shortly after her shock diagnosis, Rebecca - who runs her own business via Instagram called Sugar Shack Styling Co - revealed her heartbreaking decision to send her daughter away so she didn't have to see her mother go through pain.
'I decided that it would be best for my baby girl to move up to her dad's so she didn't have to witness my struggle coming to terms with the doctors and all the time in hospitals and clinics,' she said.
'So I didn't have to worry about her while I get used to the routine of chemo. I know many people would think this is a silly move and I should keep my girl as close to me as possible.
'But I intend to have a long life full of special moments with my daughter and for that to happen, right now I need to focus on me.'
