Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in Mani Ratnam's next 'Ponniyin Selvan'

Up till now, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was seen last in 'Fanney Khan' along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao was taking her own sweet time to read scripts and sign a film. But as per recent reports, the actress will next be seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan'. And this is not the first time the talented duo will be teaming up for a movie. Earlier too, the gorgeous actress teamed up with the ace director in films like 'Iruvar', 'Raavan' and 'Guru'. For the uninitiated, 'Ponniyin Selvan' is a popular Tamil classic written by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
