HP Spectre Folio and Spectre X360 Always Connected PCs have been launched in India. HP says these are aimed at providing premium computing experience while offering LTE connectivity for on-the-go network connection. Both models are gigabit-class LTE Intel-based laptops, thereby providing advanced connectivity options and are more secure than public Wi-Fi networks. The HP Spectre Folio and Spectre X360 feature a nano-SIM slot under the display. The HP Spectre Folio is claimed to be the world’s first leather convertible PC and also packs one of the smallest motherboards in the industry to achieve a thin and light design. On the other hand, the Spectre X360 features a cut design that is achieved by CNC machining, thus offering four distinct positions: Laptop, Tent, Reverse and Tablet.

Furthermore, the HP Spectre Folio packs up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. It sports a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS BrightView display with WLED-backlit and multitouch functionality. The Always-connected PC is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 8500Y processor with 1.5GHz base frequency and up to 4.2GHz Turbo Boost Technology. The Intel UHD Graphics 615 takes care of the graphics. Ports on board include two Thunderbolt 3, one USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1, and a single headphone/microphone combo.

The HP Spectre Folio also features Bang & Olufsen quad speakers for an immersive audio experience and HP Audio Boost 2.0. There is an HP Wide Vision FHD IR Camera with integrated dual array digital microphone. A 6-cell, 54.28 Wh Li-ion polymer battery with 65W fast charging support fuels the laptop. It weighs 1.47 kgs and measures 32.01 x 23.45 x 1.54 cm and runs on Windows 10 Pro.

HP Spectre x360

The HP Spectre X360 comes with a privacy camera kill switch which allows the user to turn off the webcam when not in use. It is powered by the Intel Core i7-8565U paired with Intel UHD Graphics 620 and Turbo Boost Technology of up to 4.6GHz. There is up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage. It shares the same connectivity ports as the Spectre Folio and features Bang & Olufsen quad speakers and HP Audio Boost 2.0. Connectivity options include Intel Wireless-AC 9560 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2×2) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 Combo. A 4-cell, 61 Wh Li-ion polymer battery with the same 65W charge support completes the specs sheet.

HP Spectre Folio LTE price starts at Rs 1,99,990 and comes in Cognac Brown colour, while the Spectre X360 LTE base model is priced at Rs 1,69,990. Lastly, the regular Spectre X360 with no LTE option costs Rs 1,19,990 for the Poseidon Blue colour, and the Dark Ash Grey is priced at Rs 1,09,990. These will be available through select HP World stores, HPShopping.in and other e-tailers. HP partnered with Jio and is offering 1.5TB 4G data for two years at no additional cost for those purchasing the Spectre Folio and Spectre x360.
