The Global T20 league is kicking off in Canada today. With many international players and former legends like Yuvraj Singh playing, it is expected to be a cracking affair. There are six teams in fray and unlike other leagues, here the teams will play in three stages including playoffs to reach the final, which is scheduled to take place on 11th August. 

The teams taking part are Toronto Nationals,  Vancouver Knights, Montreal Tigers, Winnipeg Hawks, Edmonton Royals and Brampton Wolves. Brampton Wolves is a new entrant to the tournament which is in its second year. 

All the matches will be played in Brampton, Ontario.
