Telangana: 8 Maoists held, detonators seized

HYDERABAD: Eight alleged members of Communist Party of India (Maoist) were nabbed by Bhadradri-Kothagudem police on Wednesday as they were in possession of 30 gelatin sticks and eight detonators.

Police said that P Idamaiah, M Somadu, Chennaih, R Mallaiah, M Budra, K Bujanga Rao, T Ramesh were nabbed. They already have a case pending against them since the past two years.
Officials said that these alleged Maoists were seen by security personnel when they were conducting a combing operation. Initially, on seeing the police the accused tried to flee but the cops chased them and they were caught at Kalivaeru cross roads.
