The 79-year-old, whose son enjoyed a long Premier League career, preyed on youngsters as young as six and women in the 1970s and 80s.
He was convicted of four rapes, two attempted rapes, four indecent assaults and a serious sexual assault at Croydon Crown Court.
His disgusted family branded him a monster and said they believe there are more victims who haven't come forward.

The man, a former London Tube worker who lived in Surrey, can't be named for legal reasons.
He began sexually abusing one girl from when she was just six into adulthood and abused two other girls under 16 for years. He was eventually arrested in 2017.

A family member told The Sun: 'We are certain that there are more who have not spoken out. I feel sick to think I used to sit on his knee as a youngster. I was lucky.
'He's ruined so many lives and the family has been rocked by this ordeal but at least he got what he deserves at last and will rot behind bars.
