Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to install world’s tallest statue, 251 metres tall, of Lord Ram at 100-acre Digital Park in

The developments would be part of the

The state government is also spending on the beautification of ghats and temples and development of nearby tourist destinations in Ayodhya.
Additional chief secretary, UP tourism and information, Awanish Kumar Awasthi said, “We have had a wonderful experience in Kumbh this year, where tourists praised the cleanliness. So, the thrust is to maintain cleanliness at all religious places in the state under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.”
The state is also planning to create a new world record by lighting 4,00,000 earthen lamps this Diwali. The earthen lamps will be lighted not only at temples and ghats, but also by general public in their houses to create a new world record.
Last Diwali, over 300,150 earthen lamps were lighted for at least 45 minutes on the Saryu banks.
