Vaiko, four others from Tamil Nadu sworn in as Rajya Sabha members

CHENNAI: MDMK general secretary Vaiko and five others from Tamil Nadu were sworn in as members of Rajya Sabha on Thursday. All of them took oath in Tamil.
Vaiko has returned to the Rajya Sabha after a gap of 23 years.

The others who took oath on Thursday are DMK’s P Wilson and N Shanmugam and AIADMK’s N Chandrasekaran and A Muhammathjan.
PMK youth wing president Anbumani Ramadoss, who was also elected as a Rajya Sabha member after AIADMK allotted PMK one seat as per an electoral agreement between the two parties, did not take oath on Thursday.
