Khuzwayo set for Orlando Pirates exit - report

2019-07-25 11:58

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo could be set to exit the club after failing to recover from a potentially career-threatening injury.

Since joining the Sea Robbers from Kaizer Chiefs, Khuzwayo is yet to make an official appearance as he continues to battle against a debilitating ankle concern.

The 29-year-old was recently removed from the starting line-up for the Carling Black Label Cup against Chiefs, leading to more speculation about his future.

The shot-stopper has also had his name removed from the list of players on Bucs' official website seemingly indicating that his time at Mayfair is approaching the end.

A source told KickOff that Khuzwayo is set to meet chairman Dr Irvin Khoza to discuss his prospects.

The source told the publication: "The player is set to meet with Dr Khoza soon to discuss his future with the club. He is set for an exit."
