Clouds, drizzle bring some relief

Clouds and drizzle brought some relief to the people in the city on Wednesday. The sultry weather and high temperatures have made life miserable for people.  The disappearance of monsoon in the region has led to increasing problems for the people. The situation is worsened by the increase in humidity which has made people sweaty and are suffering.

Every day the temperature is increasing. There is no wind and moisture in the atmosphere. Even the cooler and ac’s are not working well. Many places haven’t received a drop of rain from the past week. That is the reason of increasing temperature, the temperature has increased upto 38^c in this season. Normally such temperatures are rarely seen in such season.

Whereas the weather department can’t even predict the upcoming situation of the wheather. Wheather 0department has predicted many a times drizzling in a few areas but this has happened quite rarely. Because of this wheat barley and other kharif crops are being delayed in sowing. Because of such situation the farmers will face a lot of problems as their will be delay at the time of production.

In absence of rainfall activities, temperature has increased substantially in Bhopal and other parts of State. Now, people are sweating due to heat. People are wondering that July used to be one of the peak months of monsoon and it is passing off with scanty rainfall activities. In Bhopal, days are bright akin to summer season.

Rainfall only at few places  In last twenty four hours, it rained only at few places in Indore, Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Shahdol divisions. Rest places remained dry in state. Thandla received rainfall of 5 cm, Dindori (4 CM), Mandsaur, Mhou (2 cm each) respectively.

Weather Department forecasted rainfall and thunder activities in some places of Sheopurkalan, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Guna, Shivpuri, Rewa, Satna, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol, Chindwada, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Betul, Hoshangabad, Sagar, Damoh, Chhattarpur, Khargone, Dhar, Alirajpur, Ratlam, Sehore districts. The rainfall activities are likely in few places of Panna, Tikamgarh, Ashok Nagar, Umaria, Sidhi, Singhrauli, Bhopal, Raisen, Burhanpur, Harda, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Katni, Ujjain, Neemuch, Shajapur, Dewas, Mandsaur, Agar districts.

The weather conditions are likely to remain same for next two days. Weather Department said that a system is coming up in Bay of Bengal and it is likely to be active from July 26 and its impact will be palpable from July 28 in State. As rainfall activities have come to a grinding halt in state, mercury level is surging up. Humidity is haunting people round the clock. Now people are praying for return of rainfall activities in State to get rid of adverse weather conditions.
