PATNA: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav is again in the news for posing as Lord Shiva and offering prayer at a temple in the state capital. His picture with new hairstyle has gone viral on social media.
Tej also shared a video on Instagram with a caption, ‘Har Har Mahadev’. In the shared video, he is seen in white dhoti with sandalwood paste on his forehead, arms, neck and chest while walking inside a temple, where he performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ amid the chanting of hymns.

After performing the rituals on the first ‘Somwari’ (Monday) of Sawan, he left for assembly constituency Mahua in Vaishali from where he will start his journey to Baba Baidyanath Dham at Deoghar in Jharkhand.
According to a Tej’s associate, he performed the rituals at Banke Bihari temple on Monday. “He will leave for Baba Baidyanath Dham on July 28 and cover some parts of the journey on foot,” he said.
Tej said he will pray for the health of his father and for the people of Bihar and nation. “Lord Shiva will bring peace, prosperity and harmony in the country,” he added.

It is not for the first time that Tej has dressed up as a Hindu deity. He had earlier posed as an avatar (incarnation) of Lord Krishna and played flute in the cowshed of his residence on the New Year’s Day in 2017. He had again dressed up as Krishna in Vrindavan last year.
A poster was seen outside the residence of his mother Rabri Devi in May 2018 showing Tej and his now estranged wife Aishwarya Rai as Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, respectively.
