Reports claim the midfielder is set to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer with the two clubs said to be close to agreeing a fee.

And RMC, cited by Inside Futbol, claim Everton are keen to sign a replacement before they sanction the 29-year-old midfielder’s move

Sam Carroll's shorts are terrible

He also looks like Harry Kane’s lesser-loved brother, so I’m told. Poor kid just can’t catch a break.

Or a football for that matter, which is why Everton released him. But that’s a story for another day.

Fresh from his week in the sun, we’ve wasted no time in putting Sam back to work and sent him to Chorley last night.

Yes, it really is as grim as it sounds.

But despite that, he’s filed some top-notch copy on the players David Unsworth believes are set to leave Everton this summer.

The defender impressed when spending the second half of last season on loan at the Hawthorns.

Sky Sports reports the Baggies are interested in retaining the 22-year-old’s services, but Everton would rather keep hold of Holgate.

However, they also claim the Blues will need to offload players first too to free up wages, with Cenk Tosun reportedly one of five players Everton are reportedly prepared cash in on.

Kevin Mirallas, Yannick Bolasie, James McCarthy and Oumar Niasse are also deemed surplus to requirement

The ECHO understands Everton aren’t interested in the Brazilian, but El Desmarque, cited by Sportwitness claim the Blues may be prepared to pay €35million for him this summer.

Believe it when I see it.

Everton 'keen on' Boubakary Soumare

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare according to reports in France.

However, RMC Sport, cited by Get Football France, claim it would take a crazy bid for Lille to consider selling with the Ligue 1 club reportedly already rejecting a €40million bid for the 20-year-old.
