JAIPUR: To strengthen the degrading sanitation conditions in the city, Jaipur municipal corporation (JMC) commissioner has decided to monitor the route of the garbage collection vehicles online through base transceiver station (BTS).
Commissioner Vijay Pal Singh, on Tuesday, decided that vehicles will be monitored online as there were many complaints from residents that hoopers have not been collecting the garbage regularly. “Online monitoring system can track the route on which the hoopers are travelling. The colour of hooper’s route will change. It will help JMC to monitor them,” said Singh. Many complaints have been filed by councillors and residents from Jaipur that the vehicles did not come their areas.
